Terms of Use

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Version samepay-terms-v1.0, 22 September 2026.

1. Who we are

SamePay is a trading style of Solvo Solutions Ltd, a claims management company. Solvo Solutions Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 1013195). Solvo Solutions Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company no. 14760023). Registered office: Office 116 Regents Pavilion, Moulton Park Industrial Estate, Northampton, NN3 6BJ. ICO registration ZB675050. Contact: compliance@solvosolutions.co.uk.

These terms apply to the website at same-pay.co.uk and to the SamePay eligibility form. By using the site or the form you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the form.

2. What this site does

The site and the eligibility form help you check whether you may be able to bring an equal pay claim as a current or former shop-floor employee of Asda, Sainsbury’s or Morrisons and, if you choose to go ahead, introduce you to Harcus Parker Limited, a firm of solicitors authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA No. 653501).

SamePay is a referrer, not a law firm. We do not give legal advice, we do not assess the merits of your claim and we do not handle your claim. If you proceed, your claim is handled by Harcus Parker Limited, which pays Solvo Solutions Ltd a fee for the introduction. You do not need to use us: you can raise equal pay with your employer yourself, use Acas early conciliation without charge, or bring an employment tribunal claim yourself at no cost, or instruct a solicitor of your own choosing.

3. What it costs you

You pay Solvo Solutions Ltd nothing, whether or not your claim succeeds. If you instruct Harcus Parker Limited, its fee is set out in the funding agreement it asks you to sign and is taken from any compensation recovered. At the time of writing that fee is 24% + VAT of the compensation recovered; if the agreement you are sent says otherwise, the agreement applies. The fee Harcus Parker Limited pays us for the introduction is not passed on to you and does not change what you pay them.

4. Nothing on this site is legal advice

The information on this site is general. Any figure the site or the form shows you is an illustration based on what you enter and is not a promise of compensation. Whether you are eligible to claim, and what any claim may be worth, is assessed by Harcus Parker Limited.

5. The agreement that governs your claim

If you go ahead, SamePay collects your details and, with your consent, passes them to Harcus Parker Limited. Harcus Parker then sends you its funding agreement (a Damages-Based Agreement) to read and sign. Its fee and terms are set out in full in that agreement before you sign, and nothing is binding on you until you sign it with them. Your claim is governed by that agreement. These Terms of Use do not form part of it and do not change it. You can stop at any point before you sign that agreement, at no cost, by emailing compliance@solvosolutions.co.uk.

6. Your declaration

By signing the declaration on the eligibility form you confirm that you:

  • have worked, or currently work, for Asda, Sainsbury’s or Morrisons within the past 6 years in a role that may give rise to an equal pay claim;
  • are completing the form for yourself, and the information you give is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • have not instructed another law firm or claims management company in respect of the same claim, and have not brought the claim yourself. If you have, you will tell Harcus Parker Limited before you sign;
  • have not already received damages or compensation for the same equal pay claim;
  • have not brought proceedings in a court or tribunal for the same claim or, if proceedings are ongoing, you will tell Harcus Parker Limited;
  • live in England, Wales or Scotland;
  • are not a director, principal or employee of a claims management company, and do not work for a firm of solicitors or a claims management company acting, or intending to act, for other claimants or for the supermarkets in claims of this kind, and are not a member of a legal team instructed to defend such claims; and
  • are not subject to bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings that would affect any compensation you may be awarded.

7. Using the form

The eligibility form is made available so that you can check your eligibility and, if you choose, ask us to introduce you to Harcus Parker Limited. The site and the form are not to be copied or passed on for any other purpose. You must not use the site or the form in a way that is unlawful or that interferes with its operation.

8. Your personal data

How we collect and use your personal data, and who we share it with, is set out in our Privacy Policy. That includes the answers we save as you move through the form, including any contact details you type on the final step, so that we can follow up if you do not finish. The site sets no cookies of its own; the browser storage it does use is explained in our Cookies Policy. Both are linked on every page.

9. Complaints

If something has gone wrong, our Complaints Procedure explains how to raise it with us, what happens next and how to refer a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Complaints about the legal work on your claim go to Harcus Parker Limited under its own complaints procedure.

10. Changes to these terms

Where we change these terms we will publish a new version at this address, with a new version number and date.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
