This Cookies Policy explains how SamePay uses cookies and similar storage on same-pay.co.uk. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the personal data you give us when you check your eligibility for a supermarket equal pay claim.

What Cookies Are

What We Use

We keep this website deliberately light. We only use what is needed for the site and the eligibility form to work.

• Essential cookies. The site itself sets no cookies of its own at present. Our hosting platform may set a strictly necessary cookie for security or load balancing; such cookies hold no personal data and expire quickly.
• Session storage for the eligibility form. When you start the form, your browser keeps a small record in session storage: a random reference for your submission, a second random identifier for your browser, the time you started, the type of browser you are using, and any campaign tags in the link you clicked to reach us (for example utm_source values or a Google, Microsoft or Meta advertising click identifier). This lets us join the steps of your form together and tells us which advert or search brought you to us. Neither identifier is linked to you until you choose to submit the form. It is cleared when you close the tab or when your form is submitted. The answers you give in the form are held on the page while you complete it and are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Analytics cookies (optional). We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add a tool to count visitors and see how people move around the site, it will only set cookies with your consent, given through a notice on the site, and you will be able to change your mind at any time.

What We Do Not Use

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, social media plug-ins or any cookie that tracks you across other websites. At present no third party sets cookies through this website. Once you have been introduced to Harcus Parker, their website and communications are covered by their own cookies and privacy policies.

Consent

The essential cookies and session storage described above are needed to provide the service you have asked for, so the law does not require us to ask for your consent before using them. Anything that is not essential, such as analytics, will only be used if you agree to it, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.
